Professor Vincent Favier (Laboratory for Glaciology and Geophysics of the Environment, University of Grenoble Alpes, Grenoble, France) is a glaciologist who has been studying glaciers and the way they are changing in all corners of the world ranging from the Chilean Andes to Antarctica.

He presents the main objective behind a 34-day expedition to collect data, the logistical support of the expedition and the main experiments performed along this traverse.
