Bruny Island Marine Debris Clean Up

Join our Bruny Island Marine Debris Clean-up. Work together, celebrate our natural diversity, experience our stunning estuaries and improve the condition of our environment! The D’Entrecasteaux and Huon Collaboration hope to work with you to care for these valuable waterways.
Come and be a part of our D’Entrecasteaux and Huon Collaboration Clean-up. We work together – community, industry, waterway users and managers, and act to improve and protect the waterway’s condition, liveability, productivity and biodiversity. Please join us!
Marine debris has major impacts on marine ecosystems. Marine debris is durable and buoyant which allows it to be carried far from its source. If left, it can be washed out to sea and end up in in the most remote ocean areas.
A free lunch will be provided on the day with salmon, meat, vegan and vegetarian options available. It’s going to be loads of fun!
