Book launch: Rays of the World

CSIRO Oceans and Atmosphere Acting Science Director Dr David Smith and Director of CSIRO’s Australian National Fish Collection Dan Gledhill invite you to attend the official launch of the book Rays of the World.
This 800 page book is the world’s first complete pictorial atlas of ray fauna. It includes illustrations and information on more than 630 known species across the globe, many of which were discovered during the making of the book.
Rays of the World is edited by Peter Last, William White, Marcelo de Carvalho, Bernard Séret, Matthias Stehmann and Gavin Naylor and illustrated by Lindsay Marshall. The book provides an ideal reference for conservationists, fishery managers, scientists, fishers, divers, students and book collectors.
Join the CSIRO in celebrating this significant achievement. Light refreshments will be served. A 20% discount will be available for books ordered by guests at the launch.
