Illuminate PW1

Illuminate PW1 will light up the exterior walls of the Princes Wharf No. 1 warehouse and the forecourt with children’s drawings, photos and movie clips. Projected images will show the children’s thinking and wonderings about light: night, day, shadows, reflections, darkness, sunlight, dusk, dawn, moonlight, stars, colours, refraction etc.
This is a free family event that will celebrate the National Science Week 2015 them “Making Waves: the science of light” in the Year of Light.

ECET – South is now inviting all early year’s educators working with young children to participate in this wonderful event. Would you like to get involved? Would you like to engage your students in an investigation or provocation about light?

All you need to do is collect their thoughts, images, diagrams, drawings, photos etc and relevant permission forms and email to sustainability.learning.centre@education.tas.gov.au  by July 31st.
To find out more about this fabulous opportunity please come along to an information afternoon on Thursday 25th June  4 pm at the Sustainability Learning Centre  or email: sustainability.learning.centre@education.tas.gov.au
