An evening of Menzies public talks on health in Tasmania: Fires, Smoke & Your Health; and Mild Iodine Deficiency in Tasmania: Research on Pregnant and Breastfeeding Women, and Children.

Fires, smoke & your health – Dr Fay Johnston

Dr Fay Johnston will discuss the impacts of fire smoke on health, from global to local scales, and the relevance for Tasmanians.

Mild iodine deficiency in Tasmania: research on pregnant and breastfeeding women, and children – Dr Kristen Hynes

Dr Kristen Hynes will speak on the impacts of iodine deficiency in children and the importance of educating the community about the role that iodine plays.
