This is a rare opportunity to visit the Mt Pleasant Observatory after dark!
  • Use telescopes with the assistance of an expert night-sky guide.
  • Enjoy talks by Tasmanian Night Sky Photography winner, Peter Sayer and Planet Hunter Dr Stefan Dieters.
  • Explore the Grote Reber Museum and find out about the life and work of the first radio astronomer, Grote Reber, and why he settled in Tasmania.
  • Check out 3D movies that show space as you’ve never seen it before.
Entry $5 per adult and children under 16 free.
