In this webinar Damien will discuss the need for autonomous observations in the Antarctic and the technological, logistical and coordination challenges that this presents. Damien will give an update on the current state of the Gateway AUV and how the results of fieldwork in the Ross Sea in February 2017 will have an impact on future Antarctic underwater missions.
