National Science Week Information Session : LAUNCESTON

National Science Week, held in August each year, is an opportunity for all Australians to celebrate science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and the role that it plays in our society, our economy and in our everyday lives.
Join the team from National Science Week and learn how just about anyone can hold an event this August. You’ll hear from head office as Geoff Crane will visit from Canberra. You’ll also have a chance to network with like-minded people and learn about how you can apply for a grant of up to $500 to assist with event costs.
The session will be in the Friends Lounge at QVMAG. Enter via the museum main entrance, turn right at the front desk and continue around to the right. Attendants will be on hand to guide you.
RSVP’s appreciated for catering purposes: to jklaus@utas.edu.au by Friday 30 March. Or RSVP on Facebook
Events are also on in Hobart and Ulverstone.
