A group of Masters students from the University’s Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies (IMAS) are on a sea voyage from Sydney to Hobart aboard CSIRO’s RV Southern Surveyor. They set sail yesterday. We have arranged to have their ‘Ship’s Log’ entries posted on a temporary blog site to share their experiences, adventures and learnings while on board undertaking marine science research. Their entries are straight from the students themselves. This is a great opportunity to read about some “live” science, make comments and post questions to the students on board for them to answer.
