Step into History at Sandy Bay

Join Brendan Lennard, the City of Hobart’s Senior Cultural Heritage Officer, to explore the cultural history of Lower Sandy Bay including Long Point and the Nutgrove area. During this easy walk (approx. 500 metres) along the Sandy Bay Foreshore Track and up to Alexandra Battery we will walk in the steps of Charles Darwin. How did Blinking Billy Point get its name? Do you remember the Beach House Hotel?
