Dr Dan Gregory, winner of the Society’s Doctoral Award for his research into pyrite geochemistry at the University of Tasmania, will speak on the accumulation of trace elements in diagenetic pyrite with examples from the metal rich Derwent Estuary and metal poor Huon Estuary.
