UTAS is proud to announce the re-launch of their Careers Fair, with an exciting new format. During Careers Week 2013, UTAS will be hosting five days of career-related activities and events, with each day focusing on an industry or faculty.
Student events will be happening at our three main Tasmania campus locations: Hobart, Launceston and Cradle Coast. A highlight of the new format will be the key note speaker and lunch-time panel discussions, featuring industry representatives, experts, graduates and career mentors. We encourage students to join the ‘Live Audience Zone’ to learn about industry and career ‘hot’ topics relevant to their degree. If you are unable to attend, the majority of these sessions will also be broadcast live to be watched online, as well as podcast for future downloading.
For Graduate Employers
Employers will have the opportunity to present to students either face-to-face or from their webcams, to network during student-run social events, and to contribute web content to our UTAS Careers Week website. Any employer event or panel discussion that is broadcast will also facilitate questions from students who are connecting virtually, either from a UTAS Careers âhot-spotâ computer or from their own online device.
