What Skulls tell us!

Join Dr Ashley Edwards from the University of Tasmania in her natural habitat (the Zoology Department!!) and learn all about the science of skulls!
Come and check out Ashley’s skull collection and learn how to expertly distinguish species such as wombats, Tasmanian devils, bandicoots and possums.
Ashley has been a lecturer and researcher in the School of Biological Sciences at the University of Tasmania since 2003. Her interests range from the hormonal control of physiological processes, such as reproduction and moulting, in reptiles, to the ethical use of animals in learning and teaching in tertiary education.
This is a FREE event suitable for all ages. What a great opportunity to meet one of Tasmania’s finest Zoologists and get a taste for real science!
