World Wetlands Day

Celebrate World Wetlands Day at Tamar Island Wetlands Centre with the Tasmanian Parks & Wildlife Service.
Robin Wingrave, a local wildlife artist and naturalist will be hosted at the centre for the first time ever as Artist-in-Residence. Robin will be joined by various presenters and there will be a range of activities available: Mural painting, treasure &amp; poo hunts, live raptor and reptile displays, making of butterfly masks, identification of macro-invertebrates through channel sweeps (great for kids and the young at heart) – also find out what do the water birds, frogs and snakes eat in a wetland.
